  1. Oh, I've lost a lot of unpaid money! In the beginning, when I first started doing online work, I was hung up in writing and survey sites and slogged away for ages before they crashed and burned or simply didn't pay me. I finally cottoned on they were a waste of time for me and stopped joining them. Let's just say I learnt my lesson and now refuse to touch them with a barge pole.
  2. Personalised registrations are not my thing at all. I would never get them myself because I'd feel like I was telling the world who I am, giving the impression that I'm loaded and could possibly make myself a target. I guess it may stem from the fact that I like to blend in and not stand out LOL
  3. @Casino Boss - good on ya for owning it! I love and respect that about you. Personally, I'm a sucker for love and would choose love over money any day. I'm a hopeless romantic as well, so I'm all about LOVE. Over the years, before I met my husband, I had a few offers from wealthy men I just couldn't bring myself to date because there was no chemistry WHATSOEVER. And I had some friends say I was stupid I say to each their own.
  4. I didn't mean to disappear but I've had a few things on my plate which prevented me from posting on FC and AR. First, I needed to have my backup power system installed. Yup, I finally got so sick of the power outages in my area and bit the bullet. So we were without power for two days and still haven't had it done after all that. The electricians found some faults with the wiring, so they're coming back Friday to rectify that before installing the backup As if that wasn't enough, I was also inundated with offline work as well as from Fiverr that urgently needed attending - in between the power being down.
  5. Besides being very expensive, skiing is not really my thing. First off, I'm not a fan of the cold, I feel it right to my bones brrrrr! Plus I'm not very well coordinated, I'd probably fall over a lot. But I guess that's part of the fun. The closest I've come to skiing is sledging Not quite the same but whatever LOL
  6. Like sprite1950 says, we're all being reported by someone or people, so I wouldn't take it to heart. What I will say however, is that it's getting ridiculous and admin should take a stand and try to manage the situation better. What happens if we all start 'report-revenging' one another? Are they seriously going to investigate every single case?! I personally think the whole thing could escalate way beyond control, with some people being wrongly targeted. This can only breed suspicion and subsequently bring the morale down. @sprite1950 - did you manage to log in? I'm logged in right now, no issues.
  7. Years ago, I was desperate for a job and just wasn't having any joy finding one. One day while scouring the www, I stumbled across the realwaystoearnmoneyonline blog and I remember spending hours on there until finally I struck lucky and decided to give PostLoop a shot. And the rest, as they say, is history!
  8. No, I'm not a fan and will not go out of my way to watch those. Funnily enough, I used to watch them as a child growing up. I don't know if it was more for something to watch or out of interest. I suspect the former because I couldn't tell you which ones I've watched LOL
  9. Wow, that's crazy! I sometimes try not to sleep but say I'm on a 12-hour long-haul flight, the motion of the plane lulls me into a deep sleep, whether I want to sleep or not. Even when I used to commute on the train, I would sometimes fall asleep on the train home and miss my stop, only to have to have to catch another train back
  10. I absolutely hate it, especially because I sometimes feel guilty for outright declining to like some of them. I'm just glad that the person remains oblivious, or at least that's what Facebook says. Otherwise I'd have to just go ahead and like them LOL
  11. That's true, transcription is not easy at all. But I have accents that I feel most comfortable with such as all British regional accents. Even when the audio file is not very clear, I can deduce from the context of the overall call or from the general sounds being made what some of the missing words are likely to be. I guess it also helps that I understand certain regional expressions, whereas I'm absolutely clueless when it comes to the American and Australian ones.
  12. You're right, trends are changing and what used to be frowned upon has become the norm. Even when I was younger, some things were taboo and culturally wrong, but now younger people can get away with doing them. I think there also used to be an element of shame. Nowadays, the younger people seem bolder and don't concern themselves much with what people are likely to say, or even the possibility of bringing shame on their family name.
  13. I know how you feel, @Casino Boss... it's totally soul destroying. I recently spotted a Customer Service job that could have been made just for me and thought, what do I have to lose? So I applied, only for them to say it was aimed at people in the Philippines. What I found frustrating was that it was advertised as a remote role, that geographical location wasn't an issue. In faction, for location, they'd put 'anywhere'. But hey, you have to persevere and soldier on.
  14. I absolutely hate referral programs LOL That's because I don't have a huge circle of people I can easily refer, so that sort of platform is of no use to me. When I found out that's the main thing as far as PTC sites go, I gave up ever trying to join any of them. Plus, I don't like the idea of renting or buying the referrals. It's just weird for me.
  15. That's quite all right, cmoneyspinner It's the thought that counts. I've known about Penny Hoarder for a few years and know it works fantastically for US residents, so I hope some of our American friends will see it I also like these blogs because while they are mainly geared towards the US market, once in a while they do share opportunities that we're all eligible for. They are really worth a visit: https://realwaystoearnmoneyonline.com https://ratracerebellion.com They also have Facebook pages.
